By the Editors
The recent flare-up of Ebola disease in Sierra Leone is over, the World Health Organization announced on Thursday. Forty-two days, or two incubation periods, have passed since the last person in the country with confirmed Ebola tested negative for the virus.
The flare-up was initially reported on January 15, just days after Sierra Leone had declared itself Ebola free.
