Featured in NEJM Journal Watch: Now, Statins for Leg Ulcers — Should We Just Put Them in the Water Supply?

Statins showed promise in a small study of venous leg ulcers, where they were associated with a 70% cure rate after 10 weeks, versus 30% in controls. Ulcers measuring 5 cm or less showed a 100% cure rate with statin treatment. The study appeared last month in the British Journal of Dermatology.

It is too obvious............STATINS seem to be too good to be true----beware the power of advertisement.
