A new policy statement from the American Academy of Pediatrics guides physicians in off-label use of drugs for children and adolescents.
Less than 50% of products have pediatric information listed on their labels. The group says that "evidence, not label indication, remains the gold standard from which practitioners should draw when making therapeutic decisions for their patients."
