More Glucose Test Strips Recalled

By the Editors

Abbott Diabetes Care late last week recalled 20 lots of FreeStyle and FreeStyle Lite glucose test strips because they may produce erroneously low readings when used with older FreeStyle meters or the OmniPod insulin management system.

The lot numbers, available in the company's press release, have expiration dates between May 2014 and March 2015. Inquiries may be made to the company at 1-888-736-9869.

In late 2010, the company recalled hundreds of lots of test strips over manufacturing concerns.
