Salad Maker Suspends Production During Cyclosporiasis Investigation

By the Editors

Taylor Farms de Mexico has suspended production and shipment of all salads after being linked to a cyclosporiasis outbreak, the FDA announced Tuesday.

In total, 539 people have been infected with Cyclospora in 19 states since mid-June, but it is unknown whether they are all part of the same outbreak. One of the company's salad mixes provided to restaurants has been tied to infections in Iowa and Nebraska.
