About the NEJM Journal Watch Pediatrics Board

Deborah Lehman, MD, is Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Associate Director of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. At Cedars-Sinai, she also serves as Director of the Outpatient Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinic, directs the residency and medical student infectious diseases education program, and serves as the pediatric clerkship site director for third-year medical students. She is the recipient of several teaching awards and has created a popular pediatric infectious diseases curriculum for rotating medical students and residents. Her special interests include congenital infections and medical education. Dr. Lehman joined the board of Journal Watch Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in 2013.
