Jennifer Rose V. Molano, MD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati, where she has been on faculty since 2010. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Latin at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, she completed both medical school and neurology residency training in her home state at West Virginia University. She further received training in behavioral neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and in sleep medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Her career has also been enriched by numerous activities in the American Academy of Neurology, including the Member Engagement Committee, Meeting Management Committee, and the Burnout Task Force. Her interests within neurology include the interface between sleep and cognition, which continues to evolve. She also enjoys teaching students, residents, and fellows at the University of Cincinnati and regularly gives lectures to the Greater Cincinnati community. Dr. Molano has been writing for NEJM Journal Watch Neurology since 2015.
