About the NEJM Journal Watch Hospital Medicine Board

Dr. Dressler is Director of Internal Medicine Teaching Services, Associate Program Director for the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program, Associate Director (Medical Education) for the Section of Hospital Medicine, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. In the Department of Medicine, he serves on the Executive Education Committee, Residency Leadership Committee, Core Competency Intervention Committee, and Quality Committee. He completed his medical training, his Internal Medicine residency, his fellowship in Hospital Medicine, and a Master of Science in Clinical Research at Emory University. He is Course Director for SHM’s 2011 Annual Meeting and founder of the Evidence-Based Rapid Fire Track. Dr. Dressler has written for NEJM Journal Watch Hospital Medicine since its inception in 2007.
